What Our Trainees Say

The six months training I went through at St. Elizabeth Demo Farm greatly changed my life for the better. I have been able to establish a kitchen garden at home that has provided vegetables for my family consumption. I also sell the surplus to my immediate neighbors and plan to expand my output to satisfy the growing market.

St. Elizabeth Demo Farm has been a huge blessing to me and my family, I acquired hands-on skills on crop farming as well as animal husbandry. The institution also helped me to establish my dairy goat venture by providing me with the starter pack I needed including the high breed dairy goat itself. I am forever grateful!

As part of the pioneer group of men, I was taken through an intensive course on modern bee keeping for six months. We were taught the latest technologies used in bee keeping and how to harvest and market honey competitively in todays’ dynamic business environment. These skills I learnt in the institution have greatly improved my livelihood as I now earn substantially from my bee keeping venture.
